ForeSee Results

ForeSee Results

Customer experience management platform that collects Voice of Customer data through post-visit surveys and session feedback. ForeSee scripts trigger targeted surveys based on behavioral rules to measure satisfaction, loyalty, and task completion.

Overview

ForeSee Results (now part of Verint) is a customer experience analytics platform that collects Voice of Customer feedback through targeted on-site surveys. It measures visitor satisfaction, task completion, and loyalty metrics.

What This Script Does

The ForeSee script monitors visitor behavior to determine when to trigger a survey invitation based on configurable rules (page count, time on site, exit intent, sampling rate). It sets cookies to track whether a visitor has been invited, has completed a survey, or should be excluded from future invitations (loyalty timer). When triggered, it renders a survey invitation overlay and, if accepted, loads the full survey questionnaire. The script collects survey responses along with session context (pages visited, referrer, device type) and sends this data to Verint's analytics platform.

Consent & Compliance

  • Consent Category: Analytics / Functional
  • Cookies/Storage: Sets multiple cookies including survey state, invitation tracking, loyalty timers, and sampling cookies. These are non-essential cookies used for analytics measurement.
  • GDPR/ePrivacy: Requires consent. ForeSee sets non-essential cookies to track visitor behavior for survey targeting and stores survey participation state. The behavioral monitoring and cookie setting require consent under ePrivacy Directive.
  • CCPA: Survey response data combined with session context constitutes personal information collection. Visitors should be informed of this collection.

Should You Block This Without Consent?

Yes. ForeSee sets non-essential cookies and monitors visitor behavior to trigger surveys. While the surveys serve a customer experience purpose, the underlying behavioral tracking and cookie setting require consent. Block the script until analytics/functional consent is obtained.

Is ForeSee Results GDPR compliant?

ForeSee Results typically loads analytics and functional trackers, which are not strictly necessary for your site to work. Under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, non-essential cookies and trackers must stay blocked until a visitor gives clear opt-in consent. So ForeSee Results can be fully GDPR compliant, but only if your site holds its scripts until consent is granted and lets visitors decline just as easily. Compliance depends on how your site loads ForeSee Results, not on ForeSee Results itself.
