ConsentStack is a modern alternative to Ketch for website consent management. Same job, fraction of the cost.

Pricing

30,000 visitors/month is the first real decision point for most sites. Here's what you get.

  • 30,000 visitors/mo
  • 6 native integrations
  • Customize every detail
  • Analytics
  • 7 languages
  • 195+ regulations
  • Custom CSS/JS
  • Headless mode + full API
Ketch Starter
$150/mo
  • 30,000 visitors/mo
  • 2 integrations (same as free)
  • No CSS injection
  • No headless mode
  • Basic analytics
  • No multi-language

Your banner never goes dark

Ketch disables your consent banner the moment you exceed your tier's visitor cap. One strike, any month. From that point until you can get on a sales call and negotiate a new plan (starting at $499/mo), your site collects data without consent. That's a compliance gap you can't control. ConsentStack keeps your banner running no matter what and auto-upgrades on the next billing cycle.

No sales calls

Ketch forces you into a sales conversation starting at $499/mo the moment you outgrow Starter. ConsentStack pricing is public and self-serve.

No overage charges, no surprises

Per-site billing. Different sites, different plans.

Simplicity & Freedom

Built for modern teams. A visual builder anyone can use, with full developer access when you need it. No tag managers, no build steps, no locked-down interfaces.

Live in Minutes

Add one snippet, configure in the visual builder, and publish. Everything else is automatic.

Full Design Control

Use the visual builder or inject custom CSS and JavaScript for pixel-perfect control. Ketch limits you to their no-code components.

One-Click Global Compliance

195+ regulations work out of the box with automatic per-visitor resolution. Need to customize? Add your own regulations or override defaults per jurisdiction.

Auto Cookie Detection

Automatically detects and classifies cookies against 900+ known trackers. No manual tagging, no tag manager rules.

Three Levels of Customization

Most teams use the visual builder and never touch code: colors, fonts, layouts, and every word in the banner are editable. When you need more, inject custom CSS and JavaScript for pixel-perfect control. And when you need full ownership, switch to headless mode and build your own consent experience on top of the API. Ketch limits you to their no-code template builder with no CSS injection, no headless mode, and no way to go beyond what their editor provides.

Plain Language, Not Platform Jargon

Ketch introduces its own vocabulary (“purposes”, “experiences”, “deployments”, “jurisdictions”) layered on top of concepts you already know. Configuring a banner means bouncing between these abstractions before anything goes live. ConsentStack uses the terms you'd expect: sites, categories, regulations, and a banner. Set up is direct and obvious.

“Sometimes the UI is hard to follow, and I find myself clicking around multiple times to get to where I want.”

ConsentStack shows every feature in one dashboard: no hunting, no hidden settings. Upgrade is self-serve and instant.

Coverage

Enable Global Compliance Mode (one toggle) and 195+ privacy regulations across 157+ jurisdictions apply automatically. No region configuration, no jurisdiction research, no manual rule mapping. A visitor from Germany gets GDPR treatment, a visitor from California gets CCPA/CPRA, a visitor from Brazil gets LGPD. All from a single setting, on every tier including free.

Ketch documents coverage for approximately 25 jurisdictions, focused on major US and European markets. Each requires configuration in their dashboard. APAC, MENA, and Africa are not documented on their regulatory compliance page. ConsentStack covers Europe (43 jurisdictions including all EU/EEA ePrivacy implementations), Americas (46 regulations including 20 US state laws with automatic per-state resolution), Asia-Pacific (28 jurisdictions), and MENA & Africa (47+ jurisdictions).

Performance

ConsentStack ships ~30 KB total: stub plus core with zero external dependencies. Independent benchmarking by CookieBench measured Ketch at 709ms banner appearance time and 296KB in external requests across their multi-file Smart Tag architecture.

A faster banner means fewer visitors interact with your site before consent is collected. That means cleaner compliance and better Core Web Vitals.
