Ben Churchill is a full-stack software engineer who has been building mid-market and enterprise web applications from the ground up since founding 23cubed in 2017. Through his boutique web and software development firm he has partnered with companies across more than 30 industries, including SaaS, e-commerce, security, deep tech, legal, real estate, and sports broadcasting. He studied computer science at Princeton University, graduating in 2021.
Along the way he found that most consent banners kept loading tracking scripts even after a visitor clicked reject, a gap that quietly exposes the site owner. He founded ConsentStack in late 2025 and built its compliance scanner to detect exactly that, delivering a consent management platform that does what modern consumers expect: software that actually works, and that teams can set up themselves.
He writes the guides, competitor comparisons, and pricing teardowns published here, drawing on hands-on work with the consent engine, the SDK, and the free compliance scanner.
